What will your job be like?

• You’ll join our marketing team.

• Every morning, you’ll do a quick daily with your team, discussing what you will work on that day. Expect LinkedIn campaigns, new merch, website edits, blog graphics, conference materials, and print.

• Throughout the day, you’ll be talking to others via Slack messages or calls to build what’s needed. You’ll be using Figma and Adobe tools. At your disposal, there is Midjourney, stock photos, and lots of mockups.

• Your teammates will be Zuzka (CMO), Mišo (Copywriter and Social Media Manager), Winky (Senior Designer), and Lenka (Scrum Master).

• Your work will probably take up to 50% of a full-time effort. Feel free to work whenever and from wherever you want; only ensure your team can rely on you.

• We operate on a biweekly sprint basis. At the end of each sprint, the team will evaluate what worked, what didn’t, what we’ll keep on doing, and what we’ll do better.

• You’re convinced that a team can achieve bigger things than an individual.

• You like to discuss the meaning and the results of your work.

• You view feedback as a gift that helps you and others to grow.

• You’ve got some experience with graphic design, and you want to build on top of it and keep growing.

• A “designer’s eye” and a “visual feel” are probably a given! You understand the basics of branding, and you can be creative even within the limits of a brand manual.

• Some experience with no-code website building tools will make for a breezier start, but it’s totally optional.

• You enjoy the fact that you can work on a different task each day.

• You don’t wait around for a task. You create those tasks together with your team.

• You can work either remotely or from one of our offices (BA, BB, ZA, LV). The rest of your team is remote, so asynchronous communication is your strong suit.

• You’re at least casually conversational in English. Most of your outputs will be in English. (You won’t have to write it, though!)

Where can you grow?

• This position will let you try all sorts of graphics jobs, from prints to LinkedIn posts. You’ll find out what fits you most.

• You’ll have an experienced “fullstack” designer Winky to help guide you and give advice when needed.

• You’ll learn to work Agile in a Scrum team. That can be useful if you want to work with developers and testers in the future.

• If you want to grow towards a more UI/UX role, you can dabble with some of our client work in time. You could, for example, help design mobile banking products used by millions.
